โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
Equivalence between spaceโfed microstrip antenna arrays and horn antenna is established. A method is proposed to determine the array height from the fed microstrip antenna and correction of phase error across the array aperture. A 25โelement array with elements arranged in a 5 ร 5 rectangular grid is designed. Simulated and measured results are presented. Spaceโfed arrays are easy to fabricate, have less weight, high gain, and low side lobe levels. ยฉ 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
