Slag + metal) equilibrium experiments have been made for the determination of activity of SiO2 in the {(1x)B2O3 + xSiO2} slag at the temperature T = 1723 K, using (0.25 Cu + 0.75 Sn) as a metal solvent. The results indicate a positive deviation from ideality. The activity of B2O3 was calculated from
