✦ Synopsis
Results concerning the catalytic activity of catalysts prepared by Equilibrium Deposition Filtration (EDF) and corresponding catalysts prepared by conventional impregnation techniques are reported. These results show that the EDF and co-EDF methodologies may be used for preparing very active catalysts even with quite high loading.
Catalysis plays central role in the human effort to protect environment. Indeed, most processes aiming to the protection of the environment are catalytic in nature.
Various catalysts supported on oxidic supports are used in the related industrial processes. Some important examples are the oxidic V205/Ti02 catalysts for the selective reduction of NOx with ammonia (SCR), and the sulphided CoMo/y-A120 3 , NiMo/y-A120 3 , and NiW/y-A120 3
