Abstract

Studies of transition metal complexes with salicylidene‐aroyl hydrazide Schiff base have been subject of many investigations (1,2). In this communication we present the synthesis, EPR, XPS, electronic and vibrational spectra of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Mn(II) and Zn(II) complexes with salicylidene‐3‐nitrobenzoyl hydrazide Schiff base (HL) ligand.
