EPR

of Mn* + in single crystals of [Co(H,O),] PtCI, has been studied from room temperature to 77 K at -9.35 GHz. Mn *+ has been found to substitute for Co'+ exhibiting a unique magnetic complex. The observation of resolved Mn*+ spectra has been interpreted in terms of a random modulation of the interaction between the Mn*+ and Co" tons by the rapid spin-lattice relaxation of Co'+ ions. It has been found that the effective spin-relaxation time TI SC T "where n=l.X for 105iT<293 K.
