โฆ Synopsis
Self-adhering sealant tape endures harsh environments
S ika Corp, a supplier of sealing products, has developed a robust sealant tape for both manufacturing assembly operations and field installation applications.
Called Sika MultiSeal Plus, this self-adhering tape is capable of enduring harsh environmental conditions, such as glaring sunlight, dry heat and torrential rains.
An adhesive copolymer elastomeric mastic layer -coupled with a flexible, tear-proof, UV-resistant membrane -combine to create a permanent, water-tight seal.
Applications for this sealing membrane include transportation roofing surfaces, window and door installations, and heating and airconditioning systems.
It is easy to apply and is available in rolls with 2-inch, 3-inch, 4-inch, 6-inch and 12-inch widths.
