✦ Synopsis
Epoxidized linseed oil-free fatty acids were reacted with aniline and three isomers of toluidine, anisidine, and chloroaniline in such a manner that the carboxylic groups remained free. The prepared adducts were evaluated as antioxidants and antirads for styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) vulcanizates. It was found that 2 phr of orthotoluidine, paraanisidine, orthochloroaniline, and aniline adducts were the best antioxidants and/ or antirads. @
