β¦ Synopsis
A new amphipod species from the Antarctic Ocean is described. Epimeria vaderi n. sp. can be recognized by the following traits: carinae from pereonite 4 to urosomite 1 with additional teeth on the pleosome, coxae 5-6 drawn out posteriorly and basis 5-6 with a rounded proximal lobe and a pointed distal lobe on the posterior margin.
