There is also an extensive bibliography and a thorough index.
In sum, Sampling in Archaeology is an outstanding work that should be read by all archaeologists. It does not provide simple answers to sampling questions but, much better, a way for us to think about them. It is well written and comprehensive. I highly recommend it.
