Five years ago, we were looking for the Journal's identity, its raison d'etre and its place in the market. Now, five years later, Environmental and Resource Economics (ERE) has firmly established itself.

Environmental and Resource Economics, initially published as one volume, four issues (1991 ), has meanwhile increased its publication schedule from 6 issues during 1992, to 8 issues for the years 1995 and 1996.
