Bei der Centralstelle sind nunmehr folgende Telegramme eingegangen : I ) aus Cordoba uber Rio, Januar 24 Nachmittags:

A comet was discovered by Thonie January I 8, it will become very brilliant, Grus, the physical appearance is as Comet 1880.

A large comet, visible to the naked eye, was discovered at several observatories. Jan. 2 I RA. = 3 I 6" I 5' PD. = 132O 34', Jan. 23 RA. = 320' 7' PD. = 134' 17'. The positions are a rough approximation.

Beide Telegramme wurden weiter befordert, das erste auch nach Madras und Capetown.
