โฆ Synopsis
In an @ort to give potential deal-makers a better grasp of just where they may be headed, Enron Gas Services (EGS), of Houston, has devised a number of standard packages for its gas, packages with the general title EnFolw.
EGS is a gas-marketing and finance subsidiary of Enron
Corp., also of Houston.
EGSs packages include GasBank, long-term gas at fcred prices; GasCap, gas up to five years that will never rise above a certain price; GasBlend, fixed volumes of gas in which the prices will fluctuate less than the market, if
desired; an intriguing little item named EnFolio Indexed, set volumes whose prices are tied only to competing fuels like gasoline: and EnFolio 30, like the thirty-day spot market but with delivery guaranteed.
GasBankwas offeredpreviously , and Enron executives then expressed interest in a wide variety of financial arrangements [see my interview "Industry Searches for Price Security." June 19901. Thus I called Jeffrey K . Skilling, chairman and CEO of EGS.
