✦ Synopsis
Experitneri ful Procedure
[ln(SZCNEt,),] was synthesized by treating Na(S,CNEt,) with InCl, [14]; "Fe labeled [Fe(NO)(S,CNEt,),] was prepared in a one pot reaction employing "FeSO, 7H,O (prepared from ''Fe). NO. and Na(S,CNEt,) [15]. Yield: 50%. Magnetically diluted [Fe(NO)(S,CNEt,),/ln(S,CNEt2),] single crystals were obtained after about 6 weeks by slowly crystallizing a benzene solution containing both componcnts in the ratio of 0.5% (Fe complex) to 99.5% (In complcx) under it controlled N L stream. Thc edges of the crystals were up to 5 mm long. EPR spectrii: The spectra were recorded in X Band (P z 9.7 GHz) at T = 295 K with a spectrometer of the type ESP 300 E (Bruker). For the measurement ofthe angular dependence. the spectra were collected in three planes normal to each other in 10 diTi5iona :it 5 intervals. The data was evaluated with the program "MAGRES" [8].
To establish the N, source for the formation of I during the preparation of [Fe: Iii(S,CNEI,),] crystals and powders. [Fe(S,CNEt,),] prepared from anirlytically pure FeC'I, (Fluka. NO, content 10.01 "A) was used. Either N, or Ar was applied ;IS the protcctive gas for the synthesis.
