Abstract

A rigid ferrocene–fullerene dyad was obtained from fullerene (C~60~), N‐methylglycine and 1,1′‐(α‐oxotrimethylene)ferrocene. The frozen geometry resulted in an enhanced electron transfer rate from ferrocene to fullerene moieties, when compared with conformationally flexible N‐methyl‐2‐ferrocenylfulleropyrrolidine.
