Three simple and accurate engineering relations summarize the engineering results of a computational model related to the process of the solar low-temperature multi-effect desalination. The relations providing the heat transfer surface, the installed electrical power and the thermal energy are useful in facilitating the adjustment of the economic production function of the desalination process according to different price systems.
