Hidden line routines

Cambridge Interactive Systems (CIS) have announced the general release of 'their Hidden Line Routines (HLR) for graphics system builders. HLR is a set of graphics subroutines, written in a strict subset of ANSI FORTRAN so as to ease reimplementation in a new environment.

The algorithm is fast and the package compact. Computation time increases approximately linearly with complexity of scene. HLR includes an automatic partitioning module, enablin~ it to deal with scenes of unlimited complexity.

HLR is delivered in a suitable medium in source form, together with listings, implementation manual, test program and test results.
