## Abstract Three nonโ€dispersive models in multiโ€dimensions have been developed. The first model consists of a leadingโ€order homogenized equation of motion subjected to the secularity constraints imposing uniform validity of asymptotic expansions. The second, nonโ€local model, contains a fourthโ€orde
