✦ Synopsis
Recently it has been shown that high resolution photoemission spectroscopy can be used to measure the energy gap of the high T c superconductors. The purpose of this paper is to review the results obtained by this technique and to compare the values of 2 &fKT c with those measured by tunneling or infrared spectroscopies.
