## Abstract The use of multipleβcomponent systems in orthopedic surgery gives the surgeon increased flexibility in choosing the optimal implant, but introduces the possibility of interfacial corrosion. Such corrosion could limit the longevity of prostheses due either to tissue reactions to corrosio
