✦ Synopsis

After the description of ENEA (Italian National Agency for New Technologies Energy and the Environment) activities in Renewable Energy sector which are carried out by Renewable Energy Sources Department (ENE-FORI Department), the general approach of ENEA to diffusion of Renewable Energy (RE) in Developing Countries (DC) is described with a brief survey of projects realized and works in progress.

Conclusions confirm the viability of Renewable Energy technologies for Developing Countries' energy needs.
