Commercialization of low-temp HNBR

Zeon Chemicals has fully commercialized Zetpol 4300 Series HNBR, because of growing demand for low-temperature grades of HNBR.

The 4300 Series includes Zetpol 3310, 4310 and 4300. They provide improved low-temperature dynamic sealing performance, as well as good high-temperature resistance and retention of physical properties for use in a wide variety of applications. The material is intended for seals, gaskets, hoses and diaphragms in the automotive, oil and aerospace industries.

All of the grades in the Zetpol 4300 Series have improved processability, compared with higher Mooney viscosity materials, together with better low-temperature tensile strength, reduced compression set and improved retention of properties after ageing.
