✦ Synopsis
Abstract
The synthesis of new high‐molecular‐weight non‐linear optical (NLO) polymers, prepared by polymer analogous reaction of maleic anhydride copolymers with aminoalkyl functionalized azo dyes is described. The thermal behavior of the resulting copolymers is discussed in terms of molar dye concentration, polymer main‐chain flexibility and spacer length on the glass transition temperature.
