โœฆ Synopsis

John Crane has expanded customer support and service options to Gulf region customers, with the opening of a Customer Support Centre in Qatar.

The centre includes a fast-track workshop staffed with fully trained and experienced John Crane engineers. It offers engineering services, failure analysis, refurbishment and static pressure testing, along with a round-theclock on-site emergency service capability. It also provides a variety of asset management and reliability optimization services.

Genuine John Crane spare parts are available from the center, and can be held on behalf of individual customers as bonded stocks in order to reduce supply times.

With over 6000 wet seals and 400 gas seal cartridges installed in the country, John Crane now has a major market share and a comprehensive customer base which encompasses the oil & gas, power generation, chemical and petrochemical sectors. Located in Qatar's Salwa Industrial Area, the new center has been opened in conjunction with Al Ahed Trading & Cont. Co Ltd, John Crane's partner in Qatar for more than 30 years.

This center follows the recent launch of a similar new facility in Saudi Arabia, and helps to provide John Crane customers in the region with easy, local access to the company's support network.
