The vacuum UV photodissociation of BrCN has been investigated at pressures in the range O-500 mtorr. Analysis of the CN(B + X) fluorescence reveals parallel fozmatlon of vibrationally excited CN in both the A211 and B \*Z+ states. Coilisionaily mduced intersystcm crossing modifies the observed vibra
