✦ Synopsis

The ESR spectra of triplet-state biphenyl oriented and diluted in a single crystal of dibenzofuran are analyzed.

Experimenta evidence for the planarity of triplet biphenyl is discussed. The spindensity map is outlined and compared with the previous one obtained using fluorinated compounds.
