A frequency-dependent Iineshape nnal~sis of the ESR spectra of ternary systems in solution has been carried out. The 5'-ATP-Mn(II)-Trp complex has been chosen as a model system_ The analysis points out the presence of inverted spectra at both _X-and Q-bands_ The lineshz~pe is described by n dlstributlon of configumtion;lI sites, Y'(w) = xkkpX_ YX_(fI)_ The temperature dependence of the ESR Iineaidth has ako been imestigated and is discussed in terms of chemical equilibria and correlation times.
