✦ Synopsis

The effect of electron scavengers on the diamagnetic polarization (+) in cyclohexrme was examined and compared with the experimental yield of Ps formation in the same solutions. The effect of C6F6 on PD in CC14 solutions in cyclohexane shows no competing effect. in sharp contrast to the anti-inhibition effect in Ps formation. Muonium formation seems to be different from Ps formation, and does not agree with a simple spur reaction model.
