preliminary study of Electron-Nuclear Double Resonance (ENDOR) has been carried out on carbonaceous pitches and their solutions. Large matrix and hyperfine ENDOR signals have been observed, the former being very sensitive to temperature, i.e. molecular motion. Measurements made over the temperature
