The fragmentation pathways of some 4,5-dihy~o-l,2,4-benzothiaaiazepine-l,l-~~ derivatives are discused on the basis of metastable transition data, exnct mass measurements and labelling experiments. These compounds show several primary fragmentation processes: M-SO,, M-OH aud one involving au hlramolecnlar oxygen migration (M-CHJVO).
