## Abstract Several 1โ€Xโ€sabstitirtedโ€3โ€methoxyโ€4โ€trideuteromethoxybenzens were synthesized and their electron impact ionization mass spectra were measured with an ionizing energy of 20 eV. From the peak intensity ratio of [M ๏ฃฟ CD~3~ ] and [M ๏ฃฟ CH~3~] the fragmentationโ€directing ability of the subst
