✦ Synopsis

The electron density distribution is calculated by the method of Pople-Santry-Segal for some unsaturated ethers and esters: vinylmcthyl ether, propenylmethyl ether, isopropenyimethyl ether, /3-fluorovinylmethyl ether, 1,2-dimethoxyethylene, vinyl formate, vinyl acetate, vinylmethylcarbonate. For comparison the electron density distribution is calculated for some saturated ethers and esters: dimgthyl ether, rtmthylacctate, dimethylcarbonate, methylcarbamate, and for some olefins: ethylene, propylene, butadiene, isobutylene. The correlation of cationic reactivity of the above monomers with the value of the total charge of the j~c.arbon atom of double bond and its 7r-component is established.
