## Abstract Polythiophene (PTh) films were prepared by the electrochemical polymerization of thiophene in acetonitrile solution with boron fluoride–ethyl ether (BFEE) as the electrolyte. The electropolymerization processes were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. The onset potential of the electrop
