Abstract

Auโ€Pt bimetallic nanoparticles film used as an efficient electrochemical sensor was prepared by selfโ€assembled Auโ€Pt bimetallic nanoparticles on a glassy carbon (GC) substrate using thioglycolic acid as a linker. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed that the Auโ€Pt nanoparticles selfโ€assembly film was dense and uniform. Electrochemical experiments revealed that Auโ€Pt bimetallic nanoparticles film/GC electrode showed high electrocatalytic activity to the oxidation of nitric oxide.
