โฆ Synopsis
Following investigations of supercritical carbon dioxide, bromotrifluoromethane, hydrogen chloride, and ammonia as solvents for electrochemical reactions, it has seen established that HCl and NH~3~ only conduct sufficiently for synthetic purposes at small electrode separation and very high density. CO~2~ and CBrF~3~ proved to be unsuitable.
