## Abstract A sensitive and specific electrochemical immunosensor was developed with α‐fetoprotein (AFP) as the model analyte by using gold nanoparticle label for enzymatic catalytic amplification. A self‐assembled monolayer membrane of mercaptopropionic acid (MPA) was firstly formed on the electro
