The Ti 1.4 V 0.6 Ni ribbon alloy and AB 3 -type (La 0.65 Nd 0.12 Mg 0.23 Ni 2.9 Al 0.1 ) alloy ingot are prepared by melt-spinning technique and induction levitation melting technique, respectively.
