A platinum-based chemically modified glassy carbon electrode (Pt-CME) was characterized in acidic medium by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and electrochemical techniques. A uniform distribution of platinum microparticles of different form and size (hexagonal, grain-li
