Ahstrac-The formation of stable films of nickel hexacyanoferrate (NiHCF) on carbon substrate electrode is reported. Resides exhibiting good electrochemical activity, such films have revealed a redox character that suggests cation incorporation into the tilm structure. Surface derivation leading to reversible nickel hydroxides is seen to be unique with these films when treated with alkali.
