✦ Synopsis
In a series of recent papers, it was shown that anodic dissolution of transition-metals in solutions of borane anions can lead directly to interesting transition-metal complexes [l-4] . It was also shown [l] that the complexes [Fe(BH,CN),(P(OR),},] (R = Me, Et) could be prepared either by anodic dissolution of iron in solutions of the appropriate ligands or metathetically by the reaction: FeCls t 2NaBHsCN + 4P(OR)s -Fe(BHaCN),{P(OR)s)4] t 2NaCl.
