✦ Synopsis


The electrocatalytic properties of platinum microdeposits on supports are compared with ones of other binary systems, namely thin platinum films on glass carbon and Pt-Ru alloys. It is shown, that thin continuous platinum films have the same features as microdeposits, but homogeneous and heterogeneous alloys are entirely different from Ru carrying Pt microdeposits.
