Electrochemical oxidations of catechols have been studied in the presence of 6βamino pyrimidine derivatives as nucleophiles in aqueous solution using cyclic voltammetry. The efficient electroβorganic synthesis of products has been successfully performed at carbon rod electrodes in an undivided cell under controlled potential conditions in good yield and purity. J.
