β¦ Synopsis
The electrical conductivity of poly ( 2-ethynylthiophene) (P2ET) and poly (2-ethynylfuran) (P2EF) doped with electron acceptors such as iodine, bromine, and ferric chloride was investigated. The maximum electrical conductivities of P2ET and P2EF doped with iodine were 3 X Q-' cm-', respectively. The electrical conductivity was nearly independent with increasing molecular weight. The spectral measurements such as UV-visible, infrared, electron paramagnetic resonance, thermogravimetric analysis, and X-ray diffraction were also carried out.

## Abstract Poly(methyl methacrylate) doped with CuCl~2~ was prepared and its electron spin resonance (ESR) spectra and optical properties were studied. The ESR spectra can be accounted for by the presence of two radicals: R~__a__~ and R~__b__~. FTIR spectroscopy reveals that there is no main diffe
The electrical conductivity of solution-grown poly (2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide) (PPO) films doped with TCNQ, TCNE, TNF, and I, has been studied as a function of dopant concentration, temperature (298-353 K ) , and field (50-2000 V ) . PPO forms a conductive complex on doping with these strong
Poly[4-amino-2,6-pyrimidinodithiocarbamate] was prepared from the reaction of 2-mercapto-4,6-diaminopyrimidine with carbon disulfide, followed by condensation through the removal of H 2 S gas. Five polymerΒ±metal complexes of manganese, ferrous, ferric, zinc and mercury were then prepared. The polyme
