โฆ Synopsis
A method for the reproducible production of isotropic free standing camphorsulfonic acid doped polyaniline with a conductivity of (300 f 30) Scm-' is described. The paper then goes on to describe a method of stretch orienting such films to enhance the conductivity parallel to the draw direction to (890 k 30) S cm-'. This improvement is attributed to orientation of both the crystal and amorphous phases. The samples produced by this method are the first stress oriented predoped polyaniline specimens reported in the literature.
