✦ Synopsis
We report measurements of electrical conductivity and Hall effect of AI-Cu-Ru and A1-Cu-Fe quasi-crystals. The conductivity data exhibit T 1/2 behaviour at temperatures below 30 K and T behaviour above 30 K. Both of them have been interpreted on the basis of weak localization (WL) and electron-electron interaction (EEI) theories. A large positive value and a strong temperature dependence of the Hall coefficient were observed in A163Cu25Ru12. The temperature dependence of the Hall coefficient implies that there exists a change in the carrier density. The results will be discussed in terms of WL and EEl theories and of the change in carrier density.
