β¦ Synopsis
Some pseudobinary and pseudoternary oxidenitrides (\left(\mathrm{CeN}-\mathrm{CeO}{2} ; \mathrm{LaN}{\mathrm{L}} \mathrm{Ln}{2} \mathrm{O}{3} ; \mathrm{CeN}-\mathrm{Ln}{2} \mathrm{O}{3}, \mathrm{Ln}=\right.) La. (\mathrm{Y}:) and (\mathrm{YN}-L n_{2} \mathrm{O}{3}, L n=\mathrm{La}, \mathrm{Lu}, \mathrm{Y}, \mathrm{Sc}) ) were prepared in (\mathrm{Ta}, \mathrm{Nb}), or Mo containers at temperatures between 1500 and (1800^{\circ} \mathrm{C}) and characterized by X-ray powder diffraction. Electrical and magnetic properties of two oxidenitrides, (\mathrm{LaO}{1, .31} \mathrm{~N}{1.69}) (I) and (\mathrm{LaO}{0.45} \mathrm{~N}{0.55}(1)) ), were determined over the temperature range (2-300 \mathrm{~K}). Both are weakly paramagnetic and metallic. Room temperature ((300 \mathrm{~K})) resistivities for (I) and 11 are (4.8 \times 10^{-3}) and (5.9 \times 10^{-5} \Omega \mathrm{cm}), respectively. As the temperature is lowered, resistivities of (\mathrm{LaO}, \mathrm{N}{1-\mathrm{r}}) initially decrease linearly. 01993 ^cademic Press. Inc.

## Abstract Two 7,7,8,8βtetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) complexes with cystein and guanine have been investigated. EPR spin signals of these charge transfer complexes were recorded and the electron spin lattice relaxation time (__T__~1~) temperature dependence was investigated. The electron scatter
