Sonat. I do not pretend to be an electric industry analyst or expert. My interest in the electric industry stems from the fact that natural gas is a fuel used to generate electricity. Therefore, changes in one industry affect the other. The gas industry I entered out of college in 1981 as an engineer would not be recognizable today. The electric industry appears to be headed for its own metamorphosis. What opportunities might its deregulation present to the gas industry?
