A practical iterative solution'is'applied to the problem of a spherical cavity in radially stressed infinite and finite spherical media under elastic-plastic conditions. Stress and strain concentration factors are given for various degrees of loading. Complete range of strain hardening is considered from the perfectly elastic to the perfectly plastic. Deformation and incremental theories are compared and found to be in complete agreement for the radial type of loading.
