Abstract
Gadolinium calcium oxoborate, GdCa~4~O(BO~3~)~3~ (GdCOB), single crystals were grown by the Czochralski technique. The orientation of crystal was precisely determined. To estimate the complete matrices of the elastic (13) and piezoelectric (10) coefficients measurements of the complex electrical impedance for 26 suitably chosen crystal cuts were made. The step‐by‐step procedure of this estimation is described in details and the possible errors are calculated and discussed. The results are compared with the published data of other authors.
