Some Histological and Histochemical Investigations on Epidermal Proliferations of Postlarval Stages of the Eel (Anguilla anguilla L.)
The development of fish‐pox on the skin of post‐larval eels is described as an epithelial folding in the sense of a hyperplastic proliferation. It is supposed that this is correlated with an osmotic overburdening.
