A simply constructed separation apparatus for carrier-free continuous ionophoresis is described. The main parts of the apparatus are made of Plexiglas (Ferspex) and a~ exchangeabIe. The separation surface can thus easily be renewed after work with radioactive or biol$caI materi&. The fiquid layer thickness can be chcssen within wide limits. The eapab,rlrties of she apparatus are shown with the help of two separation examples.
